Hey everyone, just a little update today.Been on holidays for the past couple of weeks and as such, I haven't been drawing all too much. It's been nice to have this time to relax but I'm going to be drawing (hopefully) for the rest of the break.
Anyways, we've got:
-a statue that's two minutes from where I work
-a weird self-portrait
-my cousin (who's pregnant)
-a page that's all about my friend, Jo, and his profile
-some animals feat. some doodles from my fellow illustrator, Caitlin.
Enjoy.
Also, don't ask me why some images scanned larger than others, I'm not sure.

Midnight Snacks
So, after feeling, and being, very unproductive all day I felt I should do something art-y. This is the result, a couple of silly, unrelated, photoshop doodles. I really enjoy messing around with a pure, black brush that has some pressure sensitivity, there's something so fluid about it. I don't know, time for sleep.

So, I've a couple more pages from my sketchbook for your viewing pleasure, some self portrait stuff, a girl in my class (is that weird?), and my friend's apartment. Enjoy.
Also, I had just heard Kid Cudi for the first time last week (somehow I missed him last year). For those who don't know, check him out, he's a very talented rapper. So, I'd been pouring over his mixtapes, which I must've been listening to when I did the above piece. The quote is from his song "Pursuit of Happiness".

Wawa Colours
Multiple posts in a single month may seem a bit scary at first, but I'll try and ease you guys into it.
I've been playing around with watercolours recently and here are a couple of pieces that I like. Both are zombie-related, as this weekend I got all up on the premier of The Walking Dead miniseries. I've read a huge portion of the comics, loved them and the first episode and a half do not disappoint.
(I also was having fun with splatters)
This second piece was a little after I became sort of frustrated with the images I was producing, so I decided I'd cheer myself up. This style is inspired by Scott Campbell, awesome dude extrodinaire, works for Double Fine and makes a hilarious comic for them as well as other stuff.

Painting with all the colours of the wind.
So, I have been in school the past little while. That doesn't mean that I haven't been drawing, quite the opposite. I have a bunch of stuff that I've been meaning to scan and will sooner or later.
This was a quick photoshop piece. Almost every drawing I have up here (and in my sketchbook) is in black and white, I wanted to try paining only using color and tones to create forms. That fell apart but i still like it and will probably be using color more often.
